## Start with search, not a phone tree

2. Search with AI-powered search — practice name, physician, city, specialty, symptom, or procedure (for example `DPC family medicine Texas` or `spine surgeon near Atlanta, GA`)
3. Use **Verified** if you want practices with map icons and trust badges
4. Open the listing: check membership or cash labels, Google ratings when available, and the practice website

## What “good” looks like

- Clear pricing or membership terms on the practice site
- A real street location — or a telemedicine policy you understand
- A care model that matches what you need: DPC, DSC, episode, cash-pay, hybrid, or concierge
- Answers to after-hours access, panel size, and what happens for labs/imaging

## How to evaluate before you enroll

- Call or message and ask for **current** fees in writing
- Confirm whether insurance is billed for any part of care
- Ask about new-patient wait times and visit length
- For specialty / procedure care, ask whether the price is a visit fee, a membership, or an episode package
